BREAKING: Teen Fugitive Still at Large in Columbia Mall Shooting – K Reward Offered!

Authorities are scrambling to locate William Thomas Marshall III (“Junior”), an 18-year-old fugitive wanted for a targeted fatal shooting at Maryland’s Columbia Mall that shocked residents in July 2024. The U.S. Marshals Service has now joined Howard County Police in a nationwide manhunt, offering a combined $30,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

What Happened?

On July 27, 2024, Marshall allegedly shot and killed 17-year-old Angelo Little – an upcoming senior at Homewood School – during a confrontation in the mall’s food court. Surveillance footage shows Marshall stalking Little through hallways before opening fire and fleeing through service corridors . Little died at the scene despite emergency efforts.

Why Hasn’t He Been Caught?

Marshall vanished immediately after the shooting and hasn’t attended Oakland Mills High School since August 2024. Investigators believe he has ties to Maryland’s Wicomico County but warn he may have fled the state . His identification was initially withheld under Maryland juvenile privacy laws but released due to “public safety concerns” as weeks passed without leads.

$30K Reward Signals Urgency

  • Howard County Police: $10K reward
  • U.S. Marshals Service: Additional $20K

Authorities describe Marshall as 5’11”, 145 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark clothing and a face-covering hoodie during the attack .

A Community on Edge

The shooting rattled Columbia – frequently ranked among America’s safest cities – with business owner Punam Thapa telling CBS News: “Suddenly these are happening… makes us very scared” . Police stress this appears isolated but urge vigilance until Marshall is captured.
