Guy Fieri is swapping spatulas for seating charts as he navigates planning his son Hunter’s upcoming wedding at his Northern California estate. The Food Network star exclusively revealed to PEOPLE at the 2025 South Beach Wine & Food Festival that Hunter and fiancée Tara Bernstein face a “tough” challenge finalizing their guest list for the late-2025 event.
“They’re both such big personalities, and they both have a lot of friends,” said Fieri, 57. “I mean, that’s the toughest thing – how those two will whittle it down to 350.” The engaged couple got engaged at Fieri’s home on Thanksgiving 2023 and chose the same location for their ceremony.
A Family Affair
Hunter, 28, works closely with his father on multiple ventures including their Hunt & Ryde wine label and Santo Tequila brand. Guy emphasized their strong bond: “My sons are my best friends,” while praising wife Lori’s role in raising their children. Younger brother Ryder, 19, will also participate in wedding festivities.
Career Updates
While managing wedding plans, Fieri continues expanding his $80M Food Network empire. Recent projects include:
- New virtual restaurant chain Flavortown Kitchen (175 locations)
- Ongoing filming of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, now in its 18th season
- Carnival Cruise Line partnership serving 19 million Guy’s Burger Joint patties annually
Fieri hinted at potential succession plans: “I don’t know that I’ll do Triple D forever. Maybe Hunter will take it over”.
